Here you are, the CEO of the DES Corporation. You have offices in 5 cities within two states and you have to use a business jet charter because your accountants forgot to pay your bill on time. You are angry. You you are embarrassed. Those accountants did not forget to make sure that they submitted their work schedules so that they could be paid on time. What to do? Maybe you ought to deduct their salary for the rental of the jet. But then you think about it and realize it was an honest mistake. Everyone makes mistakes so you will let it pass this time because they did at least get you a very nice jet to use for your meeting. So just ease into your set. Accept the champagne from the hostess and focus on your upcoming meeting. It will be a long one, a long boring meeting.
